Frequently Asked Questions
got questions? i've got answers
1. What types of therapy do you offer?
I offer individual therapy focused on trauma, grief, anxiety, stress, and personal development. My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, and elements of mindfulness, depending on your unique needs.
2. Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer secure and confidential online therapy sessions via video call for clients who prefer or require remote support. Many clients find this just as effective and more convenient than in-person sessions.
3. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can benefit anyone feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, grieving, or struggling with self-worth. If you’re asking yourself whether you could use support—chances are, therapy could help. I offer a free introductory call to help you decide if we’re the right fit.
4. What can I expect in the first session?
Your first session is a gentle, open conversation. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, any past experiences with it, and your goals. There’s no pressure—we move at your pace.
It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions and see how comfortable you feel working with me.
5. How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy varies for each person. Some clients see meaningful progress in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support.
We’ll regularly review your goals together so the process always feels purposeful and helpful.
6. Are our sessions confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. Everything you share in therapy is held in strict confidence, with a few legal exceptions (such as safety concerns), which I will explain clearly at the outset.
7. Do you work with children or couples?
Yes, I work with adults, children, and couples. Whether you’re seeking support for your child, navigating relationship challenges, or looking for individual guidance.
I offer tailored sessions to meet your unique needs. If you’re unsure which service is the right fit, feel free to reach out – I’m happy to help.
8. How do I book a session?
You can book a session directly through my booking page below.
9. What are your fees?
My fees vary depending on session length and format (online or in-person). I believe therapy should be accessible, so I also offer a limited number of sliding scale slots.
For current rates, please see the booking packages or reach out for specific details.
10. I’ve had a bad experience with therapy before, can this still work for me?
That’s completely understandable, and many people feel the same way. My approach is grounded in compassion, transparency, and collaboration.
There’s no judgment or pressure—just space for you to be heard, respected, and supported.
